We will file an Application for Letters Administration and Independent Administration as per the Texas Estates Code.
What is the difference between Administrator and Administratrix?
In Texas, many times we simply refer to someone who administers the estate as administrator. There is however a difference where a male is called an administrator and a female is called an administratrix.
Is Administrator and Executor the same?
Yes. An Administrator and Executor are essentially the same. An executor is named in a Will while an administrator is not or there is not a will. In both instances, an executor and administrator is the individual who administers the estate.
What are Administrators given in Probate to prove they are the administrator?
An Administrator is issued Letters of Administration.
